Meet the horses

You may meet Pikku-Ryti, Mentori and the family's pony Vilda – each with their own personality and story.

The story behind the stable

Horses have been part of the family’s life for more than 40 years. Both members of the family grew up with horses through their own families, where harness racing and recreational riding were part of everyday life.

The family has continued this tradition throughout adulthood. Since 2009, Jarmo has been the owner of the farm, which had already been part of his life as a rented stable before that.

Today, the family farm combines harness racing, horse breeding and tourism. The horses are not simply animals kept at the stable – they are part of the family, and each horse is known and cared for as an individual.

One of the stable’s special horses is Pikku-Ryti, a well-known Finnish Horse with a gentle character and a strong personality.

Today, the family opens its stable to visitors who want to experience horses in a peaceful and authentic way. For them, the most important part is not performance, but the connection between human and horse – a quiet moment of trust and mutual understanding.
