Before departure, your guide carefully analyses the conditions and plans the evening's route, explaining where you'll travel, why those locations have been selected, and how the forecast is expected to develop throughout the night. Rather than driving to a single viewpoint, this is a true Aurora expedition—following the clearest skies wherever they may lead while always prioritising safety, comfort, and the best possible viewing opportunities.

Local Aurora Guide

Your guide lives in Lapland and spends countless evenings observing the northern skies, combining local knowledge with real-time forecasting to make informed decisions throughout the journey. Some nights the aurora appears just outside Rovaniemi; on others, the adventure may take you much deeper into the Arctic landscape.

Throughout the evening, your guide also acts as your personal photographer, capturing portraits and memorable moments beneath the northern sky using professional camera equipment. A curated gallery of edited photographs is delivered after your experience.

Along the way, enjoy light refreshments including fresh bread, hot drinks, fruit, and nuts while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the Arctic wilderness.
