We pick you up in Rovaniemi for a comfortable 30-minute ride to a secluded frozen lake. Your professional guide welcomes you to the base, explains the safety procedures, and assists you with fitting your safety-certified thermal floating suit. Designed to insulate against the cold, this suit allows you to float on icy water in complete comfort without getting wet.
You will walk down to the open-water area of the lake and glide into the calm water for 45–60 minutes. Suspended in the water, surrounded by snowdrifts and silence, you will experience a deep sense of peace that only a northern winter can offer.
After stepping out of the lake, gather inside a heated lakeside lounge. Unwind by the crackling fire, enjoy warm berry juice, tea, or coffee, and savor a sweet snack as you share memories of your Arctic float before returning to Rovaniemi.
